The Ukrainian president began his speech by thanking for the adoption of the law on American military support for Ukraine.

– I just spoke with the Democratic leader of the US House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries. I thanked him and all congressmen for their support of our country and personal commitment to promoting the new aid package for Ukraine. We are working with partners at all levels to achieve the level of aid effectiveness that is needed to not only maintain our positions, but also disrupt Russian war plans, Zelensky said. – We are still waiting for the deliveries that were promised to Ukraine. We expect the size and composition of deliveries to be able to change the situation on the battlefield to Ukraine's advantage. It is important to implement every agreement we make – anything that will produce practical results on the battlefield and support morale on the front. In my conversation with Mr. Jeffries, I emphasized that “Patriot” systems are needed as soon as possible, he added.

– Our teams – Ukraine and the United States – are working on a bilateral security agreement. This includes arms support, financial support, political support and what concerns joint production of weapons.
