Google TV introduced FAST stations, i.e. free channels with advertising offered as part of streaming. They are becoming more and more popular in the USA and Western Europe.

In the United States, in April 2023, over 800 channels of this type appeared in the Live TV tab. With subscription prices on streaming services constantly rising, more and more people are choosing to stream for free.

According to data from Samba TV, one in three users in America already uses free streaming services. The largest growth in this type of activity is recorded by Amazon’s Freevee service. Pluto TV, Tubi, Crackle and The Roku Channel are also popular.

In Poland, streaming devices are also becoming more and more popular. They allow you to watch TV and additional materials online.
