When will “Mieszkanie na start” be launched? The minister provides an approximate date
This is a process, it cannot be calculated perfectly down to one day – said the Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman on Radio Zet when asked about the launch of the “Mieszkanie na start” program. However, he revealed the approximate date of launching the successor of the “Safe 2% loan”.
Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman was a guest of Radio Zet on Tuesday. The conversation covered, among others: thread of the new government housing program “Mieszkanie na start”, which is to replace “Safe 2% loan”. – We conduct very extensive consultations on housing. We want to present a program that consists of three elements, affecting supply and demand in two parts: social housing and support for borrowers – said the head of the Ministry of Development and Technology.
When will “Apartment for starters” start?
Hetman emphasized that as part of the support for borrowers, there is a proposal to set the interest rate to 0%. it covered large families with at least three children, as well as people in poorer circumstances who want to participate in the costs of social housing, e.g. in social housing societies.
Remarking that Prime Minister Donald Tusk promised a 0% loan during the campaign. for everyone, Hetman emphasized that there is a “coalition of October 15” and the groups forming it submitted various proposals before the elections. – My group proposed 1.5%, Prime Minister Tusk’s group proposed 0%, and the Left is in favor of building apartments for rent. At the Ministry of Development and Technology, we are trying to combine all the demands that were voiced by all entities included in the “October 15 coalition” and I am convinced that we will succeed – explained the Minister of Development and Technology.
When asked when the “Mieszkanie na start” program would start, the Radio Zet guest replied that he expected it to be in the second half of this year. However, he did not want to give a specific date. – It’s a whole process. We need to finish the consultations, which are already being finalized, submit the bill for ministerial approval, and then we have work to do in the Sejm.
