The draw for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League took place on Monday, December 18. There are 16 teams left in the game for the final triumph. In this phase of the tournament there will also be meetings with the participation of Poles. One meeting in particular promises to be interesting.
Only sixteen teams remain in the game to win the Champions League. As for the teams with Poles, the chances of winning the Champions League cup remain: FC Barcelona with Robert Lewandowski, SSC Napoli with Piotr Zieliński and Hubert Idasiak, FC Copenhagen with Kamil Grabara and Arsenal with Jakub Kiwior.

The winners of their groups were seeded in the draw: Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, FC Barcelona. They were joined by the teams that advanced from second places: FC Copenhagen, PSV, Napoli, Inter Milan, Lazio, Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig, FC Porto. Unfortunately, this phase of the Champions League will also miss the top teams that have won European cups in the past. Among them are such brands as Manchester United, which took fourth place in Group A, AC Milan, and Sevilla, called the queen of the Europa League.
The group winners went to one basket, and the teams that advanced from second place went to the other. After hours 12:00 the draw for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League began. There will be no shortage of great clashes with the participation of Poles in this phase of the competition. Robert Lewandowski will face Piotr ZIeliński, Kamil Grabara will try to stop Manchester City’s attack, and Arsenal and Jakub Kiwior will face the Portuguese FC Porto. The first matches of this phase of the Champions League will take place on February 13-14, 2024.
