Thomas Thurnbichler revealed the names that will go to the World Cup. The direction seems clear

There are no surprises among those called up for the next weekends of the Ski Jumping World Cup. Coach Thomas Thurnbichler chose proven names.

The list of those appointed officially appeared on social media on Tuesday morning. Although there were discussions about possible changes after a bad weekend and competition in Willingen, Germany, in the end Thomas Thurnbichler did not surprise.

Thomas Thurnbichler selected the ski jumping team

Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł and Piotr Żyła. Currently, at the top of the World Cup rankings, there are no Polish accents among the top teams. The highest among the White and Reds is Zniszczoł, which takes 23rd place. Stefan Kraft is still the leader of the classification.

Are the choices of the Austrian Polish coach surprising? On the one hand, the trainer focuses on proven solutions. On the other hand, the lack of valuable successors shows how bad the condition of Polish ski jumping is currently. Since Stoch, Kubacki and Żyła have been failing in recent weeks – and they are still going to the World Cup, it best shows that the 2023/24 season is a picture of negligence that has affected the Polish team right now.
