The BlackView Hero 10 foldable smartphone is an unexpected competition for much more expensive models of this type from Samsung, Oppo or Huawei.
Competition on the smartphone market is so great that foldable models are starting to appear, which in terms of price leave far behind top models from manufacturers such as Samsung, Oppo or Huawei.
Of course, the lower price of the device requires the use of lower quality components. However, this does not change the fact that today you do not have to spend much more than PLN 5-6 thousand on a foldable phone, because you can buy it for the price of a regular mid-priced smartphone.
The latest potential hit in the foldable smartphone category is BlackView Hero 10which can be purchased for EUR 399, i.e. just over PLN 1,700.
BlackView Hero 10 – specifications
The BlackView Hero 10 smartphone is equipped with a 6.9-inch screen displaying images in FullHD resolution and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its performance is ensured by the eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 system, supported by as much as 12 GB of RAM. The manufacturer has equipped this device with a camera with a 108 Mpix lens.
What this smartphone does not have is support for 5G connectivity, which in the long run may be its biggest drawback. Although the battery capacity is not very positive, it is only 2630 mAh. The duration of operation of the device on one charge will, of course, also depend on the appropriate optimization of other components, but “on paper” it does not look very promising.
So far, it is not known when BlackView Hero 10 would debut on the market, but one thing is certain: the appearance of such cheap foldable smartphone models may force top manufacturers to revise their current pricing policy in the field of “foldables”.
