What is the purpose of the list of drugs at risk of lack of availability?
The list of medicines at risk of lack of availability is not only for informational purposes. Its publication is intended to prevent uncontrolled (illegal) export of medicinal products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices outside Poland (possible transport requires special consent). It is worth noting that the list includes funds whose deficit was reported by at least 5%. public pharmacies.
What to do when there are shortages of medicines in pharmacies?
If you receive a prescription from your doctor for a medicine that is not available in the pharmacy, ask your specialist to order another medicine. Moreover, the pharmacist is obliged to inform the patient about the existence of a substitute for a given medicine. You should certainly not buy medicines through unverified websites.
