After the defeat, Klemen Cebulj, the biggest star of the Slovenian national team and a player of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, was asked to comment for plusliga.pl. The host admitted that the Poles played fantastically in difficult moments.

Klemen Cebulj pointed to the decisive moment that resulted in the defeat

The Slovenians entered this match better, winning the first set and even leading 6-2 in the second, but they quickly gave up the initiative to their opponents. In addition, quarterback Gregor Ropret suffered an injury, which made the game even more difficult for Cebulj and his teammates.

– We started the second set well, we had a big advantage and we couldn’t keep it. For sure, Gregor Ropret’s injury made it very difficult for us. It was also difficult for Uros Planinsic to play calmly. It is what it is, Poland is playing for gold, we are only playing for bronze, he confessed.
