PKP Intercity has announced a novelty that will allow Google Maps users to easily buy train tickets. Ultimately, the “Buy a ticket” function is to enable the purchase of a ticket for all train routes.
Users of the JakDojada application have been able to buy train and public transport tickets for several months now. Soon it will also be possible to buy tickets on Google Maps.

The “Buy a ticket” function has already appeared in the application, but so far it works for some domestic connections – ultimately it is to be covered by all trains. How to use? The Google Maps user finds a railway connection in them and is redirected to the e-IC system, where he can buy a ticket. As a result, you no longer need to search for a connection on the carrier’s website.
The company declares that it wants to further develop its sales network. Soon, train tickets will be available for purchase via the Infobus and eTravel systems (integration should be completed within three months). In May 2022, the company established cooperation with the operators of mPay, e-podróżnik.pl, SkyCash and Koleo.
