Artificial intelligence reigns supreme, but there is still another technology on the horizon, which has been speculated about since the mid-1980s: the metaverse, i.e. an interactive world spanning virtual, augmented and physical reality.
Meta, previously known as Facebook, has just presented its new solutions related to Metaverse and avatars (mainly American celebrities) based on artificial intelligence. At the recent Meta Connect event, CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled Meta AI for social media, which aims to be both entertaining and innovative.
However, one custom AI avatar that has caught attention is a Snoop Dogg-inspired Dungeon Master designed for text-based RPGs.
