The Polish national team will fight for the gold medal at the European Championships. Nikola Grbic’s volleyball players will face the Italians, the defending champions. Before the final of the event, Karol Kłos received an unexpected message from a fan. He posted it on Instagram, which brought smiles to the fans’ faces.
The Polish national volleyball team has a chance to win another championship title this season. After winning the Nations League, Nikola Grbic’s players can (like the Turkish women’s team) win the European Championship. On the way to the last stage of the competition, they defeated Belgium, Serbia and Slovenia with a score of 3:1.
Karol Kłos with an unusual request from a fan
Without a doubt, the Poles have a difficult task ahead of them, because their rival – the Italians – are also one of the best teams in the world. A year ago, Italy defeated the White and Reds in the final of the world championship. Now Ferdinando De Giorgi’s players are also doing great. In the semi-final, they gave the French no chance, winning 3-0. In the final they will be able to count on great support from their fans.
The Polish team has plenty of good humor and positive attitude. Volleyball players realize what their greatest advantages are. Just before the final, they allow themselves to escape from thoughts of the meeting. Unexpectedly, Karol Kłos had to face an unusual request.
Asseco Resovia Rzeszów’s midfielder is known for his high activity in social media. He is followed by over a quarter of a million people on Instagram. Kłos posted a screenshot of a message from one of his fans. The woman asked him on Friday: “Good morning. Is it possible to postpone tomorrow’s final match to Sunday? “Hahahhaha I’ll ask!” – replied Kłos. The photo made Internet users laugh and garnered a lot of reactions. Unfortunately, neither Kłos himself nor the federation have any influence on such decisions.
