Iga Świątek did not celebrate for a long time, because the next week she was in Rome, where she will take part in the Internazionali d'Italia tournament. Let us remember that last year the Pole was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Jelena Rybakina. The Raszynia player retired in the third set due to an injury. The tournament will start on Tuesday, April 7, and the drawing took place the day before – on Monday.

The first racket in the world received a free ticket in the first round, so the competition will start from the next phase of this match, which is scheduled for May 10. In this phase of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, Iga Świątek will face the qualifier or Caroline Dolehide.
