Iga Świątek lost to Linda Noskova in the third round of the Australian Open. Defeat is the great sensation of the season. After the meeting, the Polish woman blamed herself for her mistakes, but she did not break down.

She talked about how she was often in a hurry, didn’t return well and could have done more. However, she added that, contrary to appearances, she did not feel much regret

– I feel that during the preparation period I did everything to improve the elements I set for myself. The tournament came and I didn’t play as naturally as I did then, said Świątek. – I lost, but it’s not the end of the world, there are more challenges ahead of me. I remember the time when I returned to work a year ago. After the failure, I was able to reset and focus on the next goals. Now I’m going to do exactly the same – added the world’s first rocket.

Linda Noskova will play with Elina Svitolina

Linda Noskova will play in the quarterfinal match of the Australian Open against Elina Svitolina, who defeated Viktorija Golubic. Magdalena Fręch is still playing in the women’s singles competition.
