He fights with the municipal company and writes letters to Trzaskowski. “I heard: think about how this will go.”
Marcin Piłczyński has been waging war with one of the municipal companies in Warsaw for months. Although he won the tender, he did not even manage to enter the construction site. The entrepreneur claims that everything was done to discourage him, and the city company denies everything.
Almost 200 places for patients, nursing stations, bathing rooms with specialized equipment, a relaxation zone, sensory paths, and a mini graduation tower nearby. All this will be located in the new medical pavilion of the Capital Care and Treatment Center. Cost? Almost PLN 50 million.
The cornerstone for the investment was laid in July 2022, and the city authorities, headed by Rafał Trzaskowski, took part in the ceremony. A year later, SCOL announced another tender, in which only two companies took part. The first is a consortium that is building a new pavilion. The second one is Marcin Piłczyński’s company.
– When I called about the site inspection, I heard from one of the managers: “How do you even know that this tender is taking place?” – recalls the entrepreneur. – The fact is that I had to find it because they didn’t brag about it. Perhaps they didn’t see the need, he says.
