Sebastian Świderski: We count on success with the participation of the men’s team
In the past, many important volleyball tournaments were held at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. In 2009, our players played here at the European Championships, where they won the bronze medal. In 2022, they played here at the World Championships, and a year later they qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris. As for our volleyball players, in 2014 the White and Reds played the second group stage here. Moreover, in 2008, 2010 and 2012, the Champions League finals were held in the Atlas Arena.
– This will be the last stage of preparations for the Olympic Games in Paris for our Polish men’s team. This year, we could host a women’s qualifying tournament at Atlas Arena, and now we are counting on success with the participation of the men’s team, said Sebastian Świderski, president of the Polish Football Association, at the conference.
