For these men, the diagnosis is unacceptable. Prof. Lew-Starowicz: This is not a small group
In this column, I focus on a specific group of men with erectile dysfunction for whom the statement that the cause of the disorder is psychogenic factors is unacceptable. This is not a small group.
In the population of men with erectile dysfunction (ED), exclusively psychogenic etiology affects approximately 18-20%. cases and it concerns all age groups, but more often young and middle age. It’s time to take a closer look at this issue.
The word “weakness”
Erectile dysfunction appeared in these people usually from the beginning of sexual activity and has always been like this. The second variant concerns men in whom ED appeared in a long-term relationship and gradually began to occur in most, and over time – in all attempts at sexual contact.
It is understandable that people with such disorders wonder what is causing the problem.
