Banderas and his ex-wife, Melanie Griffith, bought the apartment in 2005 for $4 million. It is located in an exclusive building right next to Central Park in New York. In 2016, after the divorce, Banderas bought the apartment from his former partner and has been trying to sell it since May 2018. Initially, the price was $7.95 million, but has now been reduced to $7.395 million.
