According to bizblog.pl, vending machines are to return from January 2020. In the previous edition, the machines became famous mainly for breaking down every now and then. Two vending machines, one of which was placed in the “relaxation zone” on the square. Banking, were the result of cooperation between Coca-Cola, the town hall and the Nasza Ziemia Foundation. Back then, they operated for only three months.

Huge interests

The city hall claims that the failure of the machines resulted from the huge interest and numerous acts of vandalism. As reported, during the three months of operation, residents donated over PLN 114,000 to them. plastic waste. As stated, these were mainly PET bottles. The application, thanks to which waste could be exchanged for points, was installed by 8.3 thousand people. people. According to data collected by bizblog.pl, points were most often exchanged for free coffee at Costa Coffee, discounts on tickets at Multikino, as well as for shows at the Dramatyczny and Capitol theaters.
