The drama of the Austrian ski jumper

Unfortunately, just before the start of the World Cup season, the Austrian ski jumping team delivered bad news. Maximilian Steiner suffered an injury that excludes him from this year’s competition. Last season, Steiner placed 15th in the Continental Cup with 400 points.

“The end of the season for Maximilian Steiner! He tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee and suffered injuries to the meniscus and collateral ligament in a fall during training on Thursday at Bergisel. He has already undergone a successful operation at the Kettenbruecke sanatorium. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery!” – the federation announced.
