Schedule of matches of Polish volleyball players in the European Championships. When will they return to the park?
The European Women’s Volleyball Championship is fast approaching. We already know the schedule of the Polish national team, which will join the competition in exactly 10 days. Here is the schedule of group stage matches.
The sporting event that many Polish fans have been waiting for, especially those interested in volleyball, will start soon. The European Volleyball Championships, one of the most prestigious national tournaments, are ahead of us. Polish women will also take part in them, but they will not join the competition right away. You will have to wait a bit for their first performance.
Polish volleyball players will play in the European Championships. When are the matches?
Biało-Czerwone went to group A, so they will fight their battles in the first phase of the games in Belgium, specifically in Ghent. Among other things, it is this team that will face Stefano Lavarini’s charges. In addition, they will have to compete with Serbia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Hungary.
Considering how well the Polish volleyball players were doing in the Nations League, promotion to the next stage of the tournament should not be a problem. Let us remind you – our compatriots unexpectedly reached the semi-finals, where they lost to the Chinese (0:3), but in the match for the bronze medal they showed class. Then they faced the Americans and after a tie-break they stood on the lowest step of the podium.
It is not known, however, whether this time the White and Red will do as well. It is true that Joanna Wołosz, among others, returned to the squad, but on the other hand, injuries plague other volleyball players. At the moment, we do not know how serious the injuries of Malwina Smarzek or Martyna Czyrniańska are. In the right form, both could significantly help the Polish women, but will they manage?
