Official premiere of three Samsung Galaxy S24 models. Here are the prices and specifications

In recent weeks, we have had a real flood of guesses, leaks and speculations regarding the latest flagship smartphones from Samsung. On January 17, 2024, the company put an end to all this by officially presenting the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra models. In terms of their appearance and specifications, most of the above-mentioned leaks were basically confirmed, but we also learned the Polish prices of Samsung S24 series

The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ differ mainly in size

The first two models – Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ – they are very similar to each other, except for the size of the display and battery capacity. Moreover, industry experts comment that from the outside they look almost identical to the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models from a year ago.

The Galaxy S24 and S24+ models are equipped with a Dynamic Amoled 2X display with a diagonal of 6.2 inches (1080 x 2340 pixels) and 6.7 inches (1440 x 3120 pixels), respectively. On the front of both devices there is a place for a 12 Mpix selfie camera, and under the screen there is again an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

When it comes to cameras, the S24 and S24+ smartphones have a main unit with a resolution of 50 Mpix (f/1.8, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS), an ultra-wide-angle camera of 12 Mpix (f/2.2) and a telephoto lens with a resolution of 10 Mpix (f/ 2.4, PDAF, OIS) with 3x optical zoom.

The performance of the S24 and S24+ models is ensured by the Exynos 2400 system, which is additionally supported by 8 GB (S24) or 12 GB of RAM (S24+). There is also 128 GB (S24), 256 GB (S24/S24+) or 512 GB (S24+) of mass memory for system files and user data. The entire operation is supervised by Android 14 with the One UI 6.1 interface.

The Galaxy S24 model has a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ has a 4,900 mAh battery. Both support fast charging both wired and wirelessly. The energy stored in the cells can also be used to wirelessly charge other devices.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a flat display

Unlike the S24 and S24+ models, the model Galaxy S24 Ultra has visible changes in appearance compared to its predecessor. Samsung decided to use a flat Dynamic Amoled 2X display. The 6.8-inch screen displays an image with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra can be operated using the S Pen stylus, which is hidden in a special slot inside the casing, which is made of two sheets of glass and has a titanium frame.

The main camera of the S24 Ultra model has a resolution of 200 Mpix. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system is responsible for performance.
