Mieszkanie Plus is accelerating. A company will be established to build on PKP land
The government’s Mieszkanie Plus program is gaining momentum. The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection received an application to establish an enterprise that will implement the program on land in Warsaw belonging to the Polish State Railways.
PKP SA and the Housing Sector Fund for Development FIZAN, which is managed by PFR TFI, submitted an application to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection to establish a new company that will build multi-family buildings on railway land in Warsaw. The application was received on December 31, 2018, the case is pending.
– The concentration involves the creation of a special purpose vehicle in the form of a limited liability company by the Housing Sector Fund for Development Closed Investment Fund of Non-Public Assets by making a contribution in kind in the form of real estate. The special purpose vehicle will be dedicated to the implementation of a construction project in the area of Ordona Street in Warsaw of multi-family buildings with service premises. – we read in the statement.
The project is related to the implementation of the Mieszkanie Plus program, dedicated to the construction of multi-family buildings intended for rent with the option of ownership. The program is implemented, among others, in cooperation with Polskie Koleje Państwowe SA on land that is unnecessary for railway operations and may be intended for residential development, it was also explained.

The Managing Body of the Housing Sector Fund for Development Non-Public Assets Closed-End Investment Fund is PFR TFI, a company belonging to the Polish Development Fund group, whose representative is PFR Nieruchomości, a company also belonging to this group.
