Cyberpunk 2077 with great success. A Polish game on the Steam platform's list of global bestsellers

In 2023, the Cyberpunk 2077 game from the Polish studio CD Projekt Red turned out to be one of the most profitable hits on the Steam platform.

The end of the year is a time of various summaries in the electronic entertainment industry, primarily plebiscites for the best game, film, series or music album, as well as classic rankings based on the number of copies of a given product sold.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a bestseller on Steam

In the category of the most profitable computer games on the Steam sales platform, the winners in 2023 include: Cyberpunk 2077, a production of the Polish development studio CD Projekt Red, is our leading export and one of the best titles in its now very prestigious category.

This year, as in previous years, a great summary of what has been happening on Steam over the last 12 months has been prepared in several different categories, but the most important and prestigious one is the bestsellers list.

Addition “The Specter of Freedom” breathed new life into Cyberpunk

Thanks to numerous fixes that CD Projekt Red developers introduced to Cyberpunk 2077, the game is now much more playable than it was on the day of its release. Moreover, this year a really well-executed expansion was added to the game “The Specter of Freedom” (from English “Phantom Pain” feature film with the participation of actor Idris Elba, who shed a completely new light on the Polish game and finally made it universally positive around the world.

And this translated into sales results and allowed Cyberpunk to debut on the Steam 2023 bestsellers list. On the so-called The platinum list included a total of 12 titles, which were announced in random order.
