Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is going crazy. Materials with Idris Elba and Podsiadło

CD Projekt Red is entering the final phase before the release of the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion. Polish creators showed several materials from the game, and Idris Elba particularly attracted the attention of Internet users.

The highlight of the program is a new cinematic trailer that focuses on the character of FIA agent Solomon Reed, played by British actor Idris Elba. In the footage, a spy infiltrates a train leaving Night City, but not everything goes according to plan.

The material ends with a spectacular ship accident for Rosalind Myers, the president of the New United States of America. This event is the beginning of the Phantom Liberty plot, in which V will save the head of state.

The Polish company also boasted of cooperation with another star – Dawid Podsiadło. He previously provided his music in the well-received Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series, and now he returns with the song Phantom Liberty, which will be included in the upcoming expansion of the same title. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – many new features and premiere on September 26

As we wrote in Wprost.pl, we can expect many new things in Cyberpunk 2077. The basis available to all players will be update 2.0, which will be unlocked on September 21.

The most important changes include a new skill tree and a complete overhaul of the police system, but the huge patch will also include previously unseen weapons, including shoguns, SMG rifles and sniper rifles. New items will also reach ripperdocs, as players will also gain access to further modifications and implants – the game boasts, among others, new features for mantis blades that extend from the forearms. There will be as many as 100 new items in total.

The Phantom Liberty DLC will take us to a completely new district – the deserted and dangerous Dogtown. This is where the main plot of the expansion will take place, where, with the help of Solomon Reed, we will save the president of the New United States. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The premiere is scheduled for September 26, 2023.
