Bars withdrawn from sale.  There may be pieces of plastic in them

Three batches of Milka Oreo bars may contain plastic fragments – said the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. GIS was informed about this by Mondelez Polska. The company decided “to voluntarily withdraw three batches of bars,” the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate informed.

“GIS was informed by Mondelez Polska Sp. z o. o. on the voluntary withdrawal of three batches of Milka Oreo bars (37g) due to possible contamination of the product with plastic fragments,” GIS said in a statement.

Three batches of Milka Oreo bars (37g) were affected by the recall:

  • expiry date: 01/08/2024, batch number: OSK0934421;

  • expiry date: 01/08/2024, batch number: OSK0934422;

  • expiry date: 18/08/2024, batch number: OSK0934651.

Mondelez Polska Sp. z o. o. announced that, as a result of the investigation, the cause of plastic contamination of the product was determined and the scope of products subject to withdrawal was determined. “The company has taken action to inform customers who received the product and has prepared a message addressed to consumers who purchased the above-mentioned products,” GIS said.

Mondelez recommends that people who have the bar “do not consume and destroy the products.” “Consumers can contact the Mondelez Polska consumer service team at (email protected) or via the hotline 801 066 006,” adds GIS.
