The Starlink service, created by Elon Musa, offering access to satellite broadband Internet, already has over 2.3 million users around the world.
I guess each of the ventures currently being built by multi-billionaire Elon Musk has something innovative and groundbreaking in its own way. Suffice it to mention the company SpaceX. Service Starlinka telecommunications satellite system offering access to broadband Internet from virtually every corner of the world, is being developed as part of this space project associated primarily with private space flights and preparations for the first-ever manned flights to Mars.
Nevertheless, Starlink is a slightly more down-to-earth concept than what SpaceX is associated with, although in both cases we are dealing with a project very detached from Earth.
2.3 million Starlink users
The world has just heard that Starlink is already used by over 2.3 million users. This is a result of PLN 300,000. higher than in the previous quarter of this year.
Information about acquiring over 2.3 customers is a good opportunity to remind that Starlink can be used in Poland from September 2021. In total, the service is available in over 70 countries around the world, on seven different continents.
Elon Musk’s satellite broadband internet works thanks to the work of over 5,000 satellites orbiting the Earth. Ultimately, there will be over 40,000 of them.
Starlink helps Ukraine
Satellite Internet connectivity with the Starlink logo plays an important role in conducting Ukrainian military operations on the front of the war with the Russian Federation. Terminals built for this service allow for maintaining combat communications even in the event of destruction of internet and mobile telephony systems.
