Krystyna Pawłowicz returns. "I will not violate any rules regarding the judge of the Constitutional Tribunal..."

Krystyna Pawłowicz called on social media to participate in the elections and referendum. She also stated that they are issuing their appeal “will not violate any rules regarding the judge of the Constitutional Tribunal”.

Parliamentary elections will be held on October 15. On the same day, a nationwide referendum will be organized, in which Poles will be able to answer four questions prepared by Law and Justice.

The proposal was passed by the Sejm on Thursday. MPs from the ruling party, Kukiz’15 and Polskie Sprawy were in favor of adopting the resolution. Representatives of the Civic Coalition, the Left, the Polish Coalition – Polish People’s Party and Poland 2050 were against it. The majority of the Confederation abstained.

Pawłowicz calls for participation in elections and a referendum

The referendum on election day is supported by Krystyna Pawłowicz, a former PiS MP and currently a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal. “I will not violate any rules regarding the judge of the Constitutional Tribunal when I loudly call for participation in the ELECTIONS and REFERENDUM on October 15,” Krystyna Pawłowicz wrote on Friday on the X platform. “Let’s use our civil, constitutional rights,” she urged. “The sovereign is the Polish Nation. Destroying ballot papers is punishable by law. PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTIONS AND THE REFERENDUM (original spelling – ed.)” – she appealed.

In the second entry, she argued that “PRO-FREQUENCY agitation, also carried out during the election campaign by the JUDGE of the Constitutional Tribunal – does not violate his independence (original spelling – ed.)”. She also stated that “encouraging ALL Poles to exercise their fundamental, CONSTITUTIONAL right to exercise power is the RESPONSIBILITY of all public authorities.”

“I revoke the annulment”

In turn, earlier Pawłowicz stated that she “revokes the annulment”, referring to the last statement of Donald Tusk.

– I solemnly annul this referendum, which PiS wants to organize on October 15, together with the elections to the Sejm and Senate, said the PO chairman on Wednesday during the National Council of the Civic Platform, where the party’s electoral lists were approved.
