ZUS reminds about the important deadline for 800 plus. The parents are one month old
If you have not yet sent your application and want to receive PLN 800 plus for the entire benefit period, do it by June 30 – reminds ZUS.
At the beginning of June, the new 800 plus benefit period will begin. For parents and guardians, this means the need to submit a new application for the allowance. This possibility has been available since the beginning of February.
Data provided by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) show that so far over 3.8 million applications for 800 plus have been submitted for nearly 5.6 million children.
The numbers previously presented by the institution indicate that by the end of April, parents had submitted over 3.5 million documents for almost 5 million children. Let us remind you that submitting applications in April guaranteed continuity in benefit payments. The above data shows that in the case of approximately half a million children there will be no such continuity. However, ZUS reminds about another important deadline.
800 plus. ZUS reminds you about an important deadline
– If you haven’t sent your application yet and want to receive PLN 800+ for the entire benefit period, do it by June 30 – ZUS appeals.
Submitting an application in May will result in the money being received in July, but with compensation for June. Funds for a given month will be forfeited if parents submit an application after June 30. You will then be entitled to 800 plus only from the month of submitting the application.
Data provided to “Wprost” by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy show that approximately 6.7 million children are currently entitled to receive 800 plus.
Applications for 800 plus can only be submitted electronically. Parents and guardians can benefit from:
-
eZUS platform,
-
mZUS application,
-
Emp@tia portal or
-
electronic banking.
There is a good chance that next year parents and guardians will no longer have to remember to submit documents for the new settlement period. The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy is working on regulations under which the right to 800 plus will be extended annually on the basis of data available to ZUS. According to the assumptions, the parent or guardian will still have to submit an application, but only for the first time for a given child. Such a situation would concern, among others: the birth of a child or the return of parents with a child from abroad. After the first application, the benefit would be renewed automatically.
