ZUS reminds that parents have less and less time to submit an application for 800 as part of a new service period. Late late will not receive money for this and previous months.
– The clock is ticking, remember! If you submit an application for 800+ for the new period 2025/2026 by the end of June, we will pay the benefit for all months – resembles the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) in a message posted on the X. platform.
800 plus. Today is the key date
This month, a new 800 plus benefit period began. Applications under the new edition of the program can be submitted from February, submitting documents until the end of April guaranteed payment of benefits without any break. Payments of 800 plus for substitution of applications submitted in June will take place by the end of August with the equalization for earlier months. People whose applications will receive after this month will not get equalities for the previous months. This, of course, does not apply to parents who were just born a child. They have three months to submit the application from the date of birth of the child. If they do it on time, they will receive a benefit with equalization.
The data provided by ZUS shows that so far over 4.3 million applications have been received on 800 plus for a new benefit period, which means that the vast majority of parents do not delay the submitting documents. Last year, 5 million 193 thousand were laid. applications for almost 8 million children.
We would like to remind you that applications for 800 plus can only be submitted electronically via: Platforma Electronic Services (PUE)/EZUS, Electronic Banking, MZUS application or EMP@TIA portal.
In April 2026 it will be 10 years since the introduction of 500 plus. Initially, the benefit was only entitled to the second and subsequent child, in 2019 they were also expanded to the first child. At the beginning of last year, the benefit was valorized to PLN 800.
