It was the U-20 team, which Magiera led, among others during the U-19 World Championships. Poles eventually left the group, but they dropped out in the knockout phase after a 0: 1 defeat with Italy. Magiera also ran the U-19 youth team, he was also the deputy sports director for the development of youth football in PZPN.

Did Boniek really indicate the right address to the election of President Kulesza? Internet users quickly pulled out to the former head of PZPN that in the past he had already played in this type of game, pointing to the initials in the context of choosing a selector and did not hit. The legend of Polish football, however, has its “access”, so who knows …

Difficult elections of Cezary Kulesza. The fifth Poles selector

Cezary Kulesza is the president of the Polish Football Association since August 2021. Earlier, in 2016-21 he was the Vice President of the Federation for Professional Football.

Kulesza during his term of office of the President of PZPN has already chosen the new selector of the Polish Senior National Team several times. It began with a turbulent parting with Paulo Sousa, a Portuguese employed by the predecessor of Kulesza, Zbigniew Boniek. The Portuguese coach went to the Brazilian league, and in his place the head of the PZPN placed on Czesław Michniewicz.

As it turned out, the summer of 2025 brought another, fourth change as a coach of the Polish team. Who will Kulesza choose this time? One thing is certain, the president of PZPN himself has no competitors in the country in the context of the next term as the head of the federation. The opposition was to put up its candidate, among others About Andrzej Padewski, Wojciech Cygania and Paweł Wojtali. However, it stood on nothing.
