ZAKSA says goodbye to several volleyball players at once. A star from the team was among those leaving
Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle is parting ways with further players. The club officially said goodbye to, among others, Bartosz Bednorz, the star of the Polish national team.
Unofficially, Polish clubs have already contracted players for the upcoming season. Officially, we are only in the period when teams say goodbye to former volleyball players of their teams. It is customary that only after the thanks are given, the new team announces the player in its colors. In recent weeks, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle has often surprised fans with subsequent announcements of departures from the club.
ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle says goodbye to many volleyball players at once
The team from the Opole Voivodeship faced great problems last season. Due to poor results, ZAKSA will not play in European cups for the first time in many years. The club is facing a major revolution, which will affect both the management of the three-time Champions League winner and the team's composition.
Aleksander Śliwka, Łukasz Kaczmarek and coach Adam Swaczyna have already said goodbye to the club. Now the Koziołki have said goodbye to other players. In one post, the band thanked Bartosz Bednorz, Dmytro Pashytskyy, Twan Wiltenburg, Przemysław Stępień, Mateusz Biernat, Radosław Gil and Wojciech Żaliński for their performances. The last one mentioned recently announced his retirement.
Fans paid attention to the way the players said goodbye. They included many players in one graphic, which Bednorz fans in particular did not like. Supporters of the host Polish national team believe that the player deserves a separate post summarizing his performances in Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
ZAKSA fans are waiting for transfers to the club
Bartosz Bednorz, born in Zabrze, will play for Asseco Resovia Rzeszów from the new season. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle has not announced any incoming transfers yet. Among them will be Bartosz Kurek, who will return to the band after many years.
