From January 1, 2026, the Formula of Lotto will change. The broadcasts of the Lotto game draw are also to look different.

Instead of guide friends, machines and balls, only a camera will appear showing the results of the draw, with background music. The new formula is to resemble the draw of the international Eurojackpot lottery.

Changing the draw formula is a normal market practice

According to the information provided to “Gazeta Wyborcza” that Totalizator Sportowy “must respond to new trends in races, and on the other to remember those who simply like to watch the draws.” He also wants to take care of the needs of younger players who use mobile applications.

Lotto studio will not be liquidated, but modernized. After more than 30 years, the company intends to completely move away from the formula of programs from game draws with presenters in the recording studio. Since the Lotto studio is to be almost maintenance -free, you can actually be sure that the aforementioned trend is simply automation.

“Changes in studio formats, as in many other productions, are a normal market practice,” said Lottomerkury in the media, the daughter of Totalizator Sportowy responsible for the broadcast of draws.

Lottomerkury is already looking for new employees: a business analyst, database administrator and an automation tester.

The location of the studio is also to change – Business Insider said. The broadcasts will take place from one of the buildings located in Praga North, and not as before, from the Annopol Business Park warehouse and office complex in Białołęka.
