This is the largest such tank in Lower Silesia, which offers vacationers the opportunity to swim and sailing in the company of beautiful views.
Mietkowskie Lake for Holidays
Only forty kilometers from the center of Wrocław there is a real treasure. Lake Mietkowskie, an artificial reservoir created by building a dam on the Bystrzyca River, is the largest lake in the entire province. In its area, in Borzygniew, there is also a guarded swimming pool, which, especially in the summer months, is besieged every day by thousands of people thirsty for holiday entertainment. Because in Lake Mietkowski you can not only bathe, but also try one of many water sports, such as sailing, kayaking, SUP or a water bike, and even use the windsurfing lessons. The separate area of the lake also plays the role of fishery popular among fishermen. There will also be beach bars or volleyball courts on the shore.
Views like in Italy
Many people who have had the opportunity to relax in Borzygniew on Lake Mietkowskie, see the beauty of Italian landscapes in Lower Silesian views. Looking at the majestic Ślęża and white sailboats remind some of the panorama of Como and Garda, although this is of course a rather bold comparison. Mietkowskie Lake, even if it does not match the beauty of Italian Tourist Centers, can be boldly considered one of the most beautiful places of this type in Poland.
