The Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMiR) inform about new financial support. Agricultural producers who suffered losses as a result of frosts that occurred from April 15 to 30 this year and as a result of hail that occurred from May 1 to 31 this year can count on them. This applies to the following crops: gooseberries, chokeberries, currants, peaches, cherries, pears, apples, apricots, walnuts, plums, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and other berries and vines.

Aid may be obtained by producers who have submitted applications for direct payments for 2024 and declared in this document to cultivate an area of at least 0.1 ha of at least one of the plants mentioned. It is also important that the amount of damage to plant production is above 30%. average annual plant.

Who can count on 6 thousand? PLN of support?

The amount of aid depends on the type of crop, the area on which it was grown and the level of losses. It will range from PLN 1,500/ha to PLN 6,000/ha depending on the crop species and the degree of its damage.

Producers of gooseberries, chokeberries and currants can count on PLN 1,500/ha if the yield loss is from 40 to 55 percent. If it was from 55 percent up to 70 percent the aid will amount to PLN 2,000/ha. In case of yield loss exceeding 70%. it will be PLN 3,000/ha.

Higher support is provided for people growing peaches, cherries, pear trees, other berries, apple trees, apricots, walnuts, plums and cherries. In the event of a yield loss of 40 to 55 percent. funds in the amount of PLN 2,500/ha are provided, from 55 percent up to 70 percent – PLN 3,500/ha. If the losses amounted to more than 70%. you can count on PLN 5,000/ha.

Producers of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and grapevines can count on the greatest financial assistance. In the event of a loss exceeding 70%. they can receive PLN 6,000. If the loss was 40 to 55 percent. it will be PLN 3,000, and from 55 percent up to 70 percent – PLN 4,000.
