Xbox to Russia – no, LNG from Russia – yes. Secret activities of the Germans and an interesting coincidence

The Germans are very allegedly boasting of a completely breaking with Russian gas, but at the same time quietly during the year they increased the import of Russian LNG by 20 percent, using transhipment terminals in Belgium, France and Spain. It seems that Viktor Orban once again helps Berlin, vexing the exacerbation of the EU gas restrictions on Russia.
In the West, however, still unchanged. In the 16th package of sanctions against Russia prepared by the EU, there was a ban on exporting the Xbox console, but at the same time restrictions on the import of liquefied gas. It turns out that, contrary to the noisy -announced cut of Europe from gas from Russia, only Central Europe takes this matter seriously.
Our western neighbors, with particular emphasis on Germany, from gas from Russia only cut themselves off.
Berlin boasts that he no longer buys gas from Russia at all, while he secretly increases its import by as much as 20 percent. The procedure is hidden in statistics, because gas is pumped through the LNG terminals in Belgium, France and Spain, where Russian tankers provide it from Jamal deposits. In Germany, this gas is booked, for example, as “Belgian” gas, despite the fact that this country does not produce gas at all.
Is this one of the main reasons why the topic of the total ban on LNG imports from Russia fell out of the project of the 16th EU Sanctions Package towards Moscow?
