On Wednesday evening, the final of the UEFA Football League was played in Wrocław. The capital of Lower Silesia will “remember” this event for a long time.
Unfortunately, the context is mainly not very positive, because Wroclaw got loud – but the pictures flowing from the Lower Silesian city – were not very sporty. There was a regular battle between the supporters of the English Chelsea FC and the Spanish Real Betis, which the uniformed services mixed in. The Wrocław market went to the messages of information services, including water cannon, flying chair and tables from restaurant gardens, etc.

It was restless both from Tuesday to Wednesday, which we informed about, as well as during the match day, but long before the start of the event. In addition, although the final of the UEFA conference league began at 21:00, already at noon on the market – a long distance from the stadium – there were sharp clashes of the aforementioned groups and acts of vandalism.
What is the situation on Thursday, after the final emotions?
“Furniture and dishes were destroyed in gastronomic premises. Bruzed glass, empty bottles and cans, and after eating cartons, all in the morning lay on the album of the Wrocław market. Cleaning from 6:00 was dealt with by employees of the company rented by the city,” reads the text of Gazeta Wrocławska.
So it seems that the worst behind Wrocław. Certainly it is a big, not very pleasant, lesson for the future. On the one hand, a sports event, which certainly made the Polish city be in the spotlight. On the other hand, counting all the losses that they suffered, among others Gastronomy premises on the market, you can ask an open question: could something more be done to secure the last days?

The sports competition at the Wrocław stadium was decided in favor of Chelsea FC players. The London team showed considerable strength. After the first half, there were players of Real Betis. The Spanish team led 1: 0 and had a chance for even more than one hit.
However, the situation turned around in the second 45 minutes. Londoners have proved that they have above all a very wide team, filled with valuable footballers. Example? Introduced in the second part, Jadon Sancho was the author of one of the four (!) Goals of Betis.
The hero of the finale was Cole Palmer. An extremely talented Englishman did not enter the list of shooters, but he showed off two assists, which strongly contributed to the rapid reversal of the result from 0: 1 to 2: 1 in a distance of just five minutes, between 65 and 70 minutes of the meeting.
