Wprost Innovators 2026 conference
This year’s Wprost Innovators are not only awards for people and companies that uniquely contribute to the development of science and modern technologies in Poland.
The program includes 5 debates, in which participation has been confirmed by, among others: Krzysztof Gulda, president of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Andrzej Horawa, general director of AWS in Poland, Piotr Sankowski, director of the IDEAS Research Institute.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Digitization, the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of National Defense, the Minister of Health, the Ministry of State Assets and the Ministry of Development and Technology.
Technology, AI and security
The block of debates was opened with the debate “How to strengthen Poland’s position on the innovative map of Europe”, attended by Piotr Sankowski, director of the IDEAS Research Institute, Andrzej Horawa, general director of AWS in Poland and Krzysztof Gulda, president of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
The second debate concerned industrial-defense cooperation: “Lessons from Ukraine: Technology that determines the advantage. What does the battlefield look like today?”which was attended by Arkadiusz Szuba, president of the management board of the UMO Group, Gen. Andrzej Pawlikowski, Serhiy Honcharov, director general of the National Association of the Ukrainian Defense Industry, Col. Paweł Doniec, deputy commander of the cyberspace defense component and Borys Voś, deputy director for research and development at the IDEAS Research Institute.
““AI ACT, gigafactories, sovereignty” – a debate in which experts discussed the challenges in the field of AI that companies face. The debate will be held by Przemysław Mikus, president of the board of directors of the Software Development Association Poland, Kamil Giera, chief specialist in the Department of Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Digitization, and Grzegorz Soczewka, VP Sales for the Central and Eastern Europe region at OVHcloud.
“How modern industry uses digital technologies to increase operational efficiency and safety and more rational management of energy, water and raw materials. discussed by Dariusz Jasak, president of the management board of SEEN Technologie, Wojciech Tubek, co-founder and CEO of Surveily AI, Bartłomiej Zysiński, president of the management board of Solartech and Marek Felbur, advisor to the management board of the Polmlek Group for financial operations and banking negotiations.
The block of debates ended with a conversation about robotics and automation “Opportunities of robotics and automation for the development of Polish industry”which was attended by Sławomir Wachowski, director of automation and digital solutions at SECO/WARWICK, Stefan Zyskkowski, chairman of the supervisory board of the Polish Automation and Robotics Forum and Paweł Zieliński, Consulting and Development Fehr Polska.
The conference was opened by Krzysztof Gawkowski, Minister of Digitization, emphasizing how important the development of a modern state is.
