WOT is looking for a drone in Warsaw. Kosiniak-Kamysz about “verification”
On the night of September 9-10, there was a massive violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones. Currently, an unmanned aerial vehicle is underway in Warsaw, but so far there is no information that it is directly related to the war in Ukraine.
On Friday (September 12), in the afternoon, a press conference of the Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz was held in London. The deputy prime minister was asked by journalists in Great Britain about the issue of violating Polish airspace. Numerous incidents of this type took place on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, in the first half of September. The question was specifically concerned the drone, which is just wanted in the Warsaw district.
– As for the search in Wesoła, WOT was launched. This is information that has been provided to us. We verify, for now there is no information about the relationship with the violation of the airspace between September 9 and 10, but everything, as always, precisely and transparently will be verified – announced the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
As the TVN24 station reminds, two UAVs have been discovered in the Masovian Voivodeship-in Nowe Miasto and in the Korytnica commune (in Mazovia).

Recall – a few days ago the operational command of the Armed Forces types informed through Platform X about the multiple violation of the aircraft by military facilities. It was decided to start the operation, which was aimed at their “identification and neutralization”. At the command, the soldiers “used weapons” – they were shot down. Then the services began searching for drones in several regions (including in the Świętokrzyska region, among others).
Even the Government Security Center joined the matter, reported directly to the Prime Minister. There was a warning that appeared in the form of short text messages on the smartphones of the Polish residents.
