Endre Stroemsheim reached for the title of world champion in a biathlon 15 km race in Swiss Lenzerheide. After the success, the Norwegian turned to Ukraine.
The world of Biathlon on the occasion of the 2025 World Cup in the Swiss Lenzerheide mainly looked at another Norwegian player. This is, of course, Johannes Thingnes Boe, who scored his last great party in his career. The Norwegian grandmaster announced that after the ongoing season he would end his career.
However, Boe managed to win three more gold medals of the 2025 World Cup, thus becoming the leader of the classification of all time. In this state of history, the Norwegian overtook his legendary compatriot Ole Einara Bjoerndalen, collecting PLN 23, 14 silver and 6 bronze medals.

The title in a Sunday 15 km race was won by another of the Norwegians, Endre Stroemsheim. A player from Oslo could raise his hands in a gesture of triumph. As it turned out, Stroemsheim is not only a sports class, but also a conscious athlete – looking at everyday life much more widely – than the losses in the calendar.
“Yesterday I became the world champion, today my thoughts are coming to Ukraine again. That day, three years have passed since the start of the full -scale invasion. Last weeks in Lenzerheide Europe celebrated biathlon together, I hope that Europe will still be strong with Ukraine and Norway will increase support for it! Praise Ukraine! Glory to the heroes! ” – wrote the Norwegian master through Instagram.
In addition, he joined two photos, from his success as a weight of the Golden World Championships and straight from Ukraine, a sea of flags showing the scale of a tragedy lasting for over three years.

It is worth recalling that the war at our eastern border began – looking at the sports thread – equally with the end of the winter games in Beijing in 2022. Vladimir Putin was also present during the competition in China, it was already suggested that immediately after its completion, there may be an invasion of Ukrainian areas.
This, unfortunately, actually happened in practice. Exactly on February 24, 2022, the first fatal news from Ukraine came. The brutal attack from the Russian troops was the beginning of the full -scale war behind our eastern border. The war, which consumed thousands of victims, and worse, is still going on – although the three years have already passed since its beginning.
