Władysław Grochowski about the KPO scandal: This is the spoilage

Władysław Grochowski, prezes grupy Arche

I am against any money. For someone to get them, someone else must earn on them. I have a completely different philosophy. I prefer difficult situations, I prefer to borrow than get anything. Getting, as in this program, which has become loud, does not release any inventiveness, does not teach you to deal with challenges. This is an ordinary easy going-says Władysław Grochowski, president and founder of the Arche group, who runs 21 hotels throughout Poland, says about the scandal around the KPO industry for the hotel and catering industry.

Szymon Krawiec, “Wprost”: How did you react to the KPO scandal with funds for the hotel industry?

Władysław Grochowski: I approach it with a lot of reserve. These are the topics on duty. Certain groups have business to turn up the case.

Did you use these funds?

No, in life. After the pandemic, we didn’t get help from anyone. We laid down tens of millions from our own money to survive and keep jobs. There were no shields, subsidies or even loans for us – whether EU or national. We wrote to the prime minister, to the Polish Development Fund and nothing. But, when I look at it today, it turned out better.

Why better?
