Wizz Air will restore this route from Poland. We will fly to one of the most beautiful places in the north

Bergen

Next spring, residents of Western Pomerania will fly directly to Bergen, Norway. This beautiful city is famous for its fjords, but also for its rain.

Not only Oslo, but also Bergen will be included in the spring offer of Wizz Air flights from Szczecin. From March, residents of Western Pomerania will fly on board a cheap carrier to the city, which is the gateway to discovering the Norwegian fjords. Connections will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. “Tickets have already been entered into the sales system and are available at a regular price from PLN 109,” says Fly4free.pl.

Direct flights from Szczecin to Bergen

On March 30, 2026, after a break of over two years, flights from Szczecin to Bergen will be inaugurated. Connections on Wizz Air planes will take place on Mondays and Fridays, which makes this route an ideal option for a weekend city break.

With an average of 240 days of rainfall per year, Bergen is considered the rainiest city in Europe. It happens that the inhabitants of a city located at the junction of the North and Norwegian Seas do not experience a single dry day for two months.

Despite the rather complicated weather situation, this beautiful place does not discourage tourists at all. The oldest part of the city, the Bryggen waterfront with its characteristic colorful Hanseatic buildings, was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. Bergen is also the best destination if you plan to discover Norwegian nature. We can get to the most beautiful trails from the city center by public transport.

More Wizz Air flights from Poland

Bergen from Szczecin is not the only route from Poland announced by Wizz Air for 2026. As many as five connections were announced from nearby Gdańsk – from the capital of Pomerania in the spring we will fly to Tallinn, Athens, Vilnius and Nice, and in December flights from Poprad located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains will be launched. This destination is completely new in the Wizz Air network in Poland – this Slovak city cannot be reached on board a flight from any other city.
