Have you ever wondered what it is like to fly into the unknown? Wizz Air from time to time organize a competition under the slogan #Let’sgetlost, which is literally getting lost – although in English this expression has a more positive tone and means exploring unknown places and situations. Social media users can fight in it for a ticket to a place to a place that they will not know until landing.

This time, 30 lucky people from Italy won the journey with an accompanying person, who appeared on September 12 at the Rzym-Fiumicino airport. Throughout the journey they did not know where they were going, and a few days before departure they only got tips on what weather conditions to prepare. The target airport on the board was displayed as “unknown”, and they were also inscribed on the deck cards.

“One hint: this time it is a real hidden gem. Not exactly what you expected,” encouraged the organizers. For this reason, two participants who shared their impressions on the web bet that they were flying to Armenia or Azerbaijan.

The effects could be seen on the thicket. “Ready to find out where we are?” The captain asked, then announced that the plane landed in the capital of Moldova, Chisinas. Then he presented it as a country known for huge vineyards and a hidden gem of Europe.

The commentators’ reactions were very different. “This voice of disappointment” – wrote one of the people. Another commentary wrote that even if this is not the most beautiful place in the world, it is also beautiful and hopes that it will appeal to foreign guests.

Participants could see for themselves. The winners won not only a flight to their destination, but also a “intensive, three -day sightseeing plan full of fun, rich cultural experiences, culinary discoveries and exciting adventures.” The journey is over.

It was certainly a new experience for Italians – lines reported that last year their customers from this country most often bought flights to London, Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Prague. It was the fourth edition of the competition in Italy. As part of the third edition of the winners flew from Milan to Abu Dhabi.

Last year, Antalya – one of the favorite directions of tourists in Turkey turned out to be a mysterious goal for the participants of #Let’sgetlost in London. It remains to wait to organize a similar competition in Poland.
