Wizz Air is introducing changes to its packages. Tourists will be delighted

Traveling with Wizz Air can be cheaper and more efficient if we use special loyalty packages. These are usually cost-effective options for people who travel frequently and a lot. For some time now, Wizz Discount Club has been becoming more and more popular, which guarantees, among others: unlimited number of discounts. Now changes have been made to the packages.

Changes in Wizz Discount Club

Wizz Air is mainly changing the names of its basic packages. In addition, it is introducing the Wizz Discount Club Premium version, in which customers will feel distinguished and gain even more than usual. What exactly is this about?

Currently, the WDC package allowed for discounts on airline tickets for two people. To become a member, you had to pay an annual fee of €39.99. Now, after the changes, it will be slightly different, although the price will remain the same.

The offer has been modified and therefore no longer has one general name. The Wizz Discount Club Standard or Wizz Discount Club Standard Plus package is now valid. Additionally, you can use To Wizz Discount Club Premium and Wizz Discount Club Premium Plus. What are the differences and what can you expect from the new packages?

New products in Wizz Air packages

The two basic packages differ only in that one is aimed at individual individuals, and the other assumes group membership. The prices of these options do not change. The situation will be different in the case of new “premium” formats – here customers will pay much more. You have to spend as much as EUR 349.99 per year.

Thanks to the Wizz Discount Club Premium series, we gain not only discounts on tickets, but also year-round access to the Wizz Priority service with large hand luggage and free seat selection. Additionally, you can count on a 5 euro discount on luggage purchased online. We get all this for ourselves and one accompanying person. In other standard packages – as usual, you can only count on cheaper tickets for two or six people – depending on whether you buy the plus or regular option.

Please note that this is not the only change at Wizz Air that has taken place recently. At the beginning of September, the carrier decided to revolutionize the system of refunding money for a canceled flight. In this case, some tourists may be at a loss.
