Wisła Kraków owner vs. furious fans. Horror scenes right after the match!

Jarosław Królewski na trybunach Wisły Kraków

Wisła Kraków is disappointing in the Betclic I league. This time, the Kraków team lost 0:1 to Warta Poznań. After the match, there was a heated exchange of words between the club’s owner and the fans.

Wisła Kraków footballers won the Fortuna Polish Cup in the 2023/24 season. After a sensational win at the PGE National Stadium against the top league Pogoń Szczecin, the Kraków team did not follow through, losing the fight to return to the league elite. Unfortunately for the famous club, the situation is also repeating itself in the current campaign.

Wisła Kraków’s disgrace. White Star suffers another defeat

After losing to Warta Poznań (0:1) on their home turf, the Cracovians fell to 15th place in the Betclic I league table. This is the last (!) safe place before a potential drop to the third level of play in Poland. At the other extreme were Wisła’s introductions to European cups. The Cracovians were one step away from advancing to the group stage of the European Conference League. As you can see, they can play football, but not necessarily… in the first league.

Although Wisła had plenty of chances to beat Warta on Friday evening, it was the team from Poznań that ultimately won its… first away win of the season. After the match, Wisła fans lost their nerves. Jarosław Królewski, owner and president of the Kraków club, stood in front of the stand of the most ardent fans. And it must be admitted that he had heard enough about what those in the stands thought about the players’ attitude.

– How come, how does it look, f***?! How does it look?! In the cups we can play on equal terms, and then the league comes and we’re a laughing stock. F***, they earn a fortune in this team. F***, we’ve had enough of this embarrassment. Another season! F***, the leniency is over. Get a f*** on. Get a f*** off, cut their salaries, because they don’t deserve it, f***, it’s worthless. Let them give it to their children, f***. The children came from home. And again, we’re fucking ashamed. Enough of this. F***ing shame – this is a quote from a “speech” from the Wisła Kraków stand.

Jarosław Królewski apologized for Wisła Kraków’s performance

There are videos on social media showing not only the owner’s presence with the fans from the perspective of the pitch, but also how Królewski entered the stand. Responding with equal emotion and asking for a timeout for the team, which is ultimately supposed to return to the winning path.

“I apologize to all those supporting Wisła Kraków today for having to swallow the bitterness of defeat once again – I know how much this club means to you and how significantly you contribute to its reconstruction. I wouldn’t trade any, even negative, emotions for anything else. Authenticity is more important than anything else. The new staff and players need more time to generate the right quality. I believe in them 100%. Sometimes when you try hard, it just doesn’t work out. It’s my responsibility. Please focus all your anger on me. I have great feelings for this club and always will. Every feedback is a motivation for me. I am convinced that this season will give us a lot of joy.” – wrote on the X Królewski platform after the match.

Wisła Kraków, for now, however, must actually start scoring points. After six games played, the Kraków team has only six points, consisting of one win and three draws, and two defeats. For comparison, the leader Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza has 22 points after eight rounds, seven wins and one draw, without a single defeat so far.
