The latest survey conducted by the National Research Group for Wirtualna Polska checked what Poles think about the CPK scandal during the PiS government. Of the 73 percent respondents who had heard about the scandal, 64 percent believes the transaction was not fair.

In an earlier survey conducted by SW Research for “Rzeczpospolita”, 42.4 percent respondents said that reports about the CPK scandal make them evaluate Law and Justice worse. At the same time, in the eyes of 8.8 percent The CPK scandal improved the image of PiS.

In an interview with Otwarta Konserwa, Adam Bielan was asked whether “everyone in PiS agrees that the CPK scandal will sink the party.” The MEP emphasized that he had not heard such voices within the party.

– Let us remember that regardless of the circumstances in which the sale transaction took place, it must be explained. We know that the notarial deed provides for the possibility of repurchase of this land by the State Treasury, without any financial loss, the politician explained.

The MEP recalled that after WP revealed the scandal, Jarosław Kaczyński suspended Robert Telus, Rafał Romanowski and Waldemar Humięckiformer head of the National Agriculture Support Center.

Adam Bielan added that this is a temporary penalty until the entire case is resolved. He also mentioned the internal commission appointed by the PiS authorities to clarify the entire matter. However, he noted that he did not know how long it would take to see the results of her work.

Later in the conversation the PiS politician noted that “based on the information he has from the media, it seems to him that this should not have happened, that this plot should not be sold”. – I think it was a mistake of the officials. The question is which of the politicians was aware of this matter, he said.
