The number of participants of employee capital plans (PPK) is growing from month to month. In June it was 3.9 million employees, compared to 3.86 million a month earlier and 3.77 million at the beginning of the year. The participation in the program is 53.72 percent. The highest occurs in large companies, employing 1000 and more people, where it exceeds 80 percent. Quite high, nearly 70 percent Participation occurs in microfirms.

However, there is also a group of people who decide to pay the funds accumulated in the program. In 2023, the amount of returns exceeded PLN 1.5 billion, last year it was PLN 1.9 billion, and only in the first three months of this year as much as PLN 600 million.

We would like to remind you that the funds accumulated in PPK consist of state payments (at the start it is PLN 250, and then PLN 240 is paid every year), employer (1.5 percent of our salary), as well as an employee (2 % of salary). Money can be paid after reaching the age of 60. It is not surprising that many people decide to take this step, because only in one year you can accumulate quite a lot of money in PPK.
