Wilfredo Leon responds to Kamil Semeniuk’s words. “It’s the past”

Wilfredo Leon will play in PlusLiga next season. The volleyball player reacted to Kamil Semeniuk’s recent words regarding his former club. An eloquent reaction.
The transfer saga involving Wilfredo Leon has recently come to an end. One of the best receivers in the world will play in the PlusLiga, for Bogdanka LUK Lublin. Fans had to wait seven months for confirmation of this transfer, since the player confirmed his departure from Sir Susa Vim Perugia in January.
Wilfredo Leon speaks eloquently about his health
Wilfredo Leon played in this club for six seasons and only in the last one did he win the national championship with the team. Unfortunately, due to injuries, his position in the team was not as strong as before. Not so long ago, Kamil Semeniuk said in an interview for “Przegląd Sportowy” Onet that if his health is good, fans in Poland will have a lot of joy from watching the Polish representative in action.
Journalists asked Leon if he had managed to heal his knee injury. “I think I’m at a stage in my career where it’s hard to be completely healthy. You have to deal with some things your whole life, and that’s the case for me. As for this particular issue with the knee, it’s stable,” he admitted.

Wilfredo Leon was also asked about the future of Perugia. “Przegląd Sportowy” again quoted Kamil Semeniuk, who said: “With all due respect to Wilfredo’s undeniable skills, but it is not certain that we will not manage. Yuki Ishikawa, who had a great season in the colors of Allianz Milano, is joining the team. We will once again have three balanced receivers and this will also be our strength. The quality of our game will not decrease, and may even increase.”
“I wish my former teammates to repeat last season’s results and also fight for the Champions League. Although the competition will be strong as always. For me, the Perugia issue is already in the past and I wouldn’t like to analyze transfer moves,” he continued.
Finally, the Polish representative was asked whether it was difficult for him to change his environment. “There are many volleyball players who have played in Italy or Poland practically their entire lives and don’t really want to go to another country, so they only change clubs within the league. In my case, it’s different. I left Cuba to start training in Poland. Then I went to Russia and Italy, and now I’m coming back to Poland. For me, it’s completely normal, I have no problem changing my environment,” he concluded.
