Wild beach hidden in the middle of the forest. The perfect place for a weekend walk
Near the center of Bydgoszcz there is a unique beach, arousing the admiration of local residents. Are you planning a rest in the area? This place is worth visiting.
Although Bydgoszcz is not a city of the first choice, when planning weekend City Break, it is worth visiting. When you get there, you can focus on important attractions in the center, but also relax on the surrounding beach. The hit is the one located on the Brda River in Janów. It is most often chosen by people from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Lovely beach in Janów
The wild sandy beach “Na Skarpie” in Janów allows for a perfect weekend rest from the city. You will find her in the forest, among greenery and peace. There are numerous forest paths including bicycle paths and breathtaking views and two nature monuments – pedunculate oaks. A beautiful escarpment with protruding tree roots and sand in golden color adds charm to this place.
Tourist routes such as the Blue Brda Trail, the Red Trail of Pedestrian tourists from Fordon to the Guest along the Fordon slope and the Black Trail – Trail of Dr. Stanisław Meysner from Myślcinek to Tryszczyn along the Brda Valley. It should be remembered that the entire Janów area belongs to the protected landscape area of the Koronowskie Lagoon.
In the area of the beach there is a camping called “On the Brda Trail”. There you can easily spend the night, among others in a caravan or summer house. This is a great solution for people who want to stay here for longer. You can take a break from noise, crowds and make a family picnic.
Beach 13 km from Bydgoszcz. That’s how you’ll get there
The beach in question is located exactly at the Janowo estate on the northwestern outskirts of Bydgoszcz within the Urban unit of Opławiec. It is actually a whole summer development complex, where we will find, among others The bridge on the road to Bożenków and Samiążka.
To get there, you can ride a bike or car from the center of Bydgoszcz. It is worth emphasizing, however, that we will reach only with a two -wheeler under the beach. There will be about 13 km to cover, it depends what route we choose – through the street. Smukalska or the DW244 road.
