Shocking discovery of employees in the village of Walichnowy. They built a sewage connection for the Volunteer Fire Brigade, but they had to stop the activities. They called the police in place.

Familiar -looking objects were discovered in a small town in the Łódź Voivodeship. A moment later, another, equally rusty was dug out.

The case was described by the Łódź branch of Polish Television, who asked the senior aspirant Piotr Siemicki for details.

Łódź, Walichnowy. They worked at the sewage system. When they saw these objects, they quickly reached for the phone

The find about which local media wrote on April 3, and which were discovered on the occasion of earthworks are old artillery shells. The weapon remembers the times of the Second World War. As soon as the involved in the construction of the sewage connection they saw dangerous items, decided to stop the activities, pull out the smartphone and call the services – first the State Fire Service.

According to TVP3, such intervention is not the first, because under this unit of the TSO in the Sokolniki commune the service was also called several days ago. At that time, the situation was quite different – “someone before the firehouse tossed an artillery shell.” Both situations differ in something else – this time the fire brigade, police and army are dealing with a much larger arsenal.

– At the moment, it may turn out that there are more of these unexplodeds. We can confirm that three mortar grenade labels and one anti -tank missile were found – a press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Wieruszów (Łódź Voivodeship) passed on TVP.

Excavations were continued at this place – they led to rusty rims that may belong to a military vehicle that transported a weapon years ago. However, an expertise is needed to find this. On Thursday, the police secured the area, and then awaited the arrival of sappers.
