When do Poles compete in the games? Check the schedule for July 27

On July 27, the Olympic Games will get underway. We know at what times we will see Polish representatives in the sports arenas.

The excitement surrounding the Olympic Games has been going on since July 24, when the men’s football tournament and the rugby sevens competition began. A day later, we saw the first Polish representative in action. Wioleta Myszor competed in the archery ranking round. The games will officially be inaugurated on July 26, and on Saturday we will have a flood of starts for the white and reds.

Iga Świątek and volleyball players at the start

In action we will see Iga Świątek, among others. The main favorite for the gold medal in the tennis tournament in singles will face Irina Camelia-Begu in the first round. The start of this clash is at 12:00.

It is also worth following the volleyball competition. The Polish national team will start their participation in the games with a battle against Egypt, which in theory is the weakest team in Group B. This match will start at 5 p.m. At the start, we will also see our other medal hopes, who will start in the qualifiers. We are talking about our kayaker Klaudia Zwolińska, or the rowing quadruple sculls. Polish fans will be able to get excited about the performances of their compatriots from 9 a.m., when our shooting mix will present itself in the qualifiers.

The first medals will be awarded in several disciplines. Among them is cycling, where among the women in the individual time trial we will see Marta Lach and Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka. Later in the men’s competition, one Pole will start – Michał Kwiatkowski.
